Persons residing in the Village of Glen Carbon or who own property within the Village are eligible for library services.

Bring two (2) forms ID (One must be picture identification and the second must be a mail piece with your current address (e.g. utility bill etc) to the library to apply for a card.

Non-Resident Card

Under Public Act 92-0166, an individual living outside of a public library service area may purchase a library card providing the non-resident with library service.  A non-resident must purchase the library card from the public library closest to the individual's primary residence.  This card is valid for one (1) year.  The non-resident card fee for homeowners is $52 per year.
